Manila - The Asian Development Bank (Asian Development Bank / ADB) during the year 2010 has approved a loan up to U.S. $ 17.51 billion during the year 2010. ADB also provides Trade Financing Program for U.S. $ 2.77 billion.
Of the total loan of U.S. $ 17.51 billion were approved, amounting to U.S. $ 15.50 billion was to support
investment, U.S. $ 1.68 billion to support policy and U.S. $ 327 million for technical assistance.
"Because this area moves through the recovery of the economy to achieve sustainable growth, it must ensure that the growth paradigm becomes more infklusif to benefit as much as possible to the community,"said ADB President, Haruhiko Kuroda in a press release on Wednesday (04/20/2011) .
According to the ADB study, 14 of the 20 countries in developing Asia have increased koefisian GINI (a benchmark for the imbalance) in recent years as increasing economic growth. Asia-Pacific region is still listed as a region inhabited by the poor absolute.
ADB also has mengumumnan operational plans for specific sectors and thematic areas. In 2010, ADB has approved three operational plan for climate change, sustainable transport and education.
In 2010, ADB and funding in particular has provided financing to U.S. $ 13.84 billion, of which U.S. $ 11.46 billion for 118 loans, U.S. $ 243 million for 8 investment shares, U.S. $ 982 million for project grants, U.S. $ 982 million for 5 guarantees and U.S. $ 176 million for technical assistance projects. ADB in 2010 also issued a thematic paper for the first time, by issuing a Water Bond of U.S. $ 638 million through the Clean Energy Bonds. For local papers, the ADB has launched CNY1, 2 billion global bond yuan in Hong Hong.
